CHILDREN ARE CHEST TREASSURE

 

THE CHURCH MUST HONOUR SUCH GREAT TREASURE

Mark 10:13-14: People brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples scolded the people, when Jesus noticed this , he was angry and said to disciples, “let the children come to me, and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  Last Sunday I was in my mission of visiting Sunday school classes,  I was given to teach a class under seven years old, it was a mixed class with; 3, 4,5 6 and 7 years old,  the class was very full at least 120 -150 children ( Maximum) with a single teacher. This was a big number to me to hold. How do we scold the parent? Most of the Pastor Sunday school is not their business, if so, 150 children in a single class and a single teacher may not bother him. We won’t expect children to experience a life changing in a class of 150 with a single teacher. We take children to good school to get good knowledge, if get happen the child remain ignorant, the school will be disqualified; likewise we to take a child to a church mean to experience God’s closeness to his life. If the child won’t change it is meaningless the child to be there.

PRAYER FOCUS

The prayers request may be made for:

1.     Parish pastors; set a program for children and youth into their congregation

2.     Have a heart of loving the next generation and learn that children are the great part of the congregation -

3.     Church members to have a heart of serving their children from house hold, local community to congregation level

4.     Live model life

5.     The means of reaching unreached children and reached

6.     The idea of starting Care centre for children – funds for buying materials and the consent of God to do so.

7.     More people to feel the burden of serving children

8.     Elijah Mhamaka He who come today (25^th March)to ask a prayers, so he may choose a right choice into serving God, pray that may God lead him to children mission.

 

MARRIAGE COUNSELLING MISSION

JESUS IN MARRIAGE;

The marriages are doomed because they don’t acknowledge God, they have rejected God’s teaching and God has rejected them and will not acknowledge their children. Marriage counseling is a new mission that are supporting children mission; there will be no children if there isn’t parent, and there won’t be parent if there isn’t children. Shaping marriage is to shape a child; likewise shaping child is to shape parents. Through seminar and individual talks I’m right here to say; Jesus has restored the few broken marriage, I’m not allowed to put their photos otherwise for their consent. Through working on broken marriage and get restored, we learn children get changed as well to new life.
